Modsquad Outfielder Overcomes Brush With Swine Flu

According to medical documents obtained by this Modsquad Reporter, 2008 MVP Chris Iannantuoni's absence on Opening Day 2009 may have been related to the recent Swine Flu Hysteria.

The Modsquad's lovable center fielder sent this email only hours before opening day:

"I’m not really feeling too well today, actually I’m going to the doctors at 3:45. I am hoping to be at the game but if I’m not I just didn’t want anyone surprised or looking for me."

Followed by another email, bluntly stating:

"I think I may have that swine flu…"

If you haven't noticed by now, the Modsquad News Team © was able to acquire a copy of Iannantuoni's X-ray, confirming that he may have had a battle with the "overhyped" H1N1 strand of the virus.

Iannantuoni is now on the mend, recovering quite well and should be in attendance for next Wednesday's 5:45 game against Woodward-Curran.
