Announcing Your 2009 Modsquad Softball Team

The fields are mowed, the dirt is raked, and the lights are firing up as the 2009 White Plains Softball season is underway.

Last season's Regular Season Champs will take on Sams/GLM tomorrow night at 5:45.

Last season, the "Boys in Purple" defeated the defending champs twice; first in a thrilling come from behind victory and again later in the season by a score of 18-10.

Trotting out for the first time ever (in Modsquad Purple) are rookies Alfrin Vallejo and Julio Gonzalez. Vallejo will start in right field and Gonzalez will man first base.

Here's the starting lineup for opening day 2009:

Julio - 1B
