WHITE PLAINS, NY
MODSQUAD Center Fielder, Chris Iannantuoni, and his wife Lorraine are expecting their first child.
Baby I should be arriving around May 27th. It is still unknown at this point whether Chris will be making a trip to the Disabled List for potentially passing out during the birthing process.
On Wednesday, Iannantuoni was surprised when a Podcasting Meeting actually turned out to be a Baby Shower.
In an e-mail sent to this MODSQUAD reporter, Iannantuoni said "I can honestly say that there have only been a handful of times in my life when I have been surprised by anything and yesterday was one of those rare occasions. Not only were you able to keep it a secret from me but Lorraine and her family didn’t tell me either, which is a big accomplishment!"
The Baby Shower was, of course, Star Wars themed. It included a cake that had a Darth Vader Voice Transformer, which Iannantuoni said "would be packed with the gear for the trip to the hospital".
