In what is being hailed as the greatest undercover reporting by a blog reporter in nearly a decade, the Modsquad Reporting Team has uncovered second baseman John Leahy's plans to leave the team and rejoin his old band Twisted Sister for their upcoming reunion tour.

Twisted Sister frontman, Dee Snider, was in the building two weeks ago, under the guise of filming a PSA, producing a podcast, and meeting with high level folks in regards to his latest chairty campaign.

Or so we thought.

Undercover cameras caught Snider with Leahy, as the two were confirming tour dates and tying up loose ends.

"I'm sick of playing second fiddle to a bunch of softball players," said Leahy, "Its time for me to stop pretending, and get back to my roots."

According to this photo uncovered by Modsquad photographer Kristen Bladel, Leahy (pictured, far right) was in fact a member of Twisted Sister.

Leahy was a key addition to the Modsquad team this season, batting .600 during the regular season and .333 during the playoffs.

Truth be told Leahy was traded to Twisted Sister from the MOD Squad for a bag of balls. With Dr. Berns to return form the DL, coach Brogdon felt Leahy was expendable. When in AZ at the Owners meeting Brogdon and Snider laid the groundwork...now with the post season behind him Coach Brogdon could focus on improving the team for next year. Snider was quoted as saying, "We are stoked about the return of THE MAN.......with Leahy on backup vocals and tambourine we are gonna kick some serious rock n roll ass!"
Team MOD Squad is divided on the trade....Big Daddy Lucas was not happy, saying, "Without Leahy to protect me in the lineup, it's feasible I walk every at bat." 3B Eric Klein had this to say, "the guy could never catch my throws on the potential DP's.....he won't be missed." Leahy is expected to join TS tour in mid Octover.
