Pre-game rituals
Making sure I get to the game on-time.

Hitting/fielding philosophy
My overall philosophy of playing is to “keep my head in the game” and to have fun. I enjoy the camaraderie and cheering on my MOD Squad teammates!

Sports played as child
Baseball, street hockey.

Baseball position played growing up
Started my career as a pitcher and third baseman. My pitching career ended when I walked 4 batters in a row. Later in my Little League “career” I was moved to first base.

Favorite baseball player growing up
Well, I was a HUGE Met fan. Tom Seaver was probably my favorite player. Since I was a first baseman, I was a big Willie Montanez fan (first baseman for the Mets). I remember that I had chance to meet him when I was 13, which was a big thrill for me…

Goals for the season
Play in as many games as my schedule will allow. And, when I play, to hit the ball hard (and preferably on the ground or line drives).

Off-the field hobbies
Spending time with my family. Playing whiffle ball and street hockey with my 11 year-old son.

Favorite food/tv show/movie/song
I can’t say that I have a favorite food, although I do enjoy Sushi. I enjoy all music, except country. In high school, I listened to lots of Genesis. Today, I enjoy Dave Matthews Band…

Trivia Answer: (b) Vaccines.

  1. Anonymous Said,

What happened as you grew up that you went from a Mets fan to a Red Sox fan??!! Honestly... that's your only flaw ;)

PS: I know you know who I am :)

    Latte Anyone?

The MOD Squad is not an official team affiliated with the March of Dimes Foundation, nor is it sponsored or endorsed by the Foundation. All MOD Squad players assume the risk of injury at the games as they would at any other non-March of Dimes activity.
