MODSQUAD and company won their second straight game Tuesday night, beating JP Morgan 13-7.

Chris Iannantuoni and Eric Klein the the MODSQUAD on both sides of the ball. Defensively, Klein shut down multiple JP Morgan rallies with sound glove work while Iannantuoni made two unbelievable catches in center field.

Klein and Iannantuoni combined had six hits, four runs batted in, and four runs scored.

After giving up two runs in the bottom of the first, MODSQUAD and company settled down, scoring five runs in the second and another five in the third.

Tuesday's game against JP Morgan was John Leahy's MODSQUAD debut. John impressed, going 3-4 and driving in a run. When asked about his first game with the team, John said,

"I just have one thing to ask; 'Could you put up a photo of A-Rod for my profile picture?"

Chris L: "The one where the guy from Letterman is rubbing him down in the park?"

John: "Oh yeah, that's a good one! Actually, if you could put a photo of Oscar Gamble, that would be great!"

We aim to please.

The MODSQUAD fan based nearly doubled tonight, with sixteen fans in attendance. There will not be a poll for fan performance this week. I'm giving the award to Mara for bringing and using purple Pom-Poms.

Chris I was clearly MVP and for now he will have to settle for an imaginary game ball. Thanks to cheerleaders, water-girls and to Pete S for the best commentary of the game: "its confusing enough when one person catches a fly ball" (upon seeing second baseman JL and sstop ND vying for the same pop up)....

I have to say that this year our team looks very good. It doesn't hurt that we have dedicated fans either!!

    Latte Anyone?
